Vedanta has reiterated that its copper capacity in Zambia
will grow to 400,000 tpy in three years, brushing aside concerns about the viability of its Konkola Deep project. The London-listed mining company told analysts today that it will deliver the Konkola Deep project in Zambia on time, which would produce 8.1 million tonnes of ore at 3.5% grade.
