Equinox Minerals has asked Ausenco to investigate the feasibility of expanding its Lumwana copper mine in Zambia. Equinox CFO and vice-president, Michael Klessens, said the group would use internal cash flow to fund the expansion. Klessens said the Australian Government's
proposed resources super-profits tax had made offshore projects more attractive.
