Indian Railways and Rajasthan sign MoU for new line project

Ministry of Railways and Government of Rajasthan have signed a memorandum of understanding on implementing 176 kilometers Ratlam Banswara Dungurpur new line project.
Mr Vivek Sahai chairman of Railway Board and Mr S Ahmad Chief secretary, Government of Rajasthan, were the signatories to the MoU.
The new line on completion will help accelerate the economic growth of the region. Rajasthan Government has planned to set up Thermal Power Projects in this area. The proposed new line will help in the moment of coal movement for thermal power plants. The new line will also serve as an impetus of development of this socially and economically backward area inhabited by tribal people.
The estimated project cost of this new line project is about INR 2083 crore. 50% of the cost of the project will be borne by the Railways and fifty per cent by Government of Rajasthan (excluding land cost). The land cost will be borne entirely by Government of Rajasthan.

Ministère des Chemins de fer et de gouvernement du Rajasthan ont signé un mémorandum d'entente sur la mise en œuvre de 176 km Ratlam Banswara Dungurpur projet de ligne nouvelle.
M. Vivek Sahai président du Conseil des chemins de fer et M. Ahmad S secrétaire en chef, gouvernement du Rajasthan, ont été les signataires du mémorandum d'entente.
La nouvelle ligne à la fin aidera à accélérer la croissance économique de la région. Rajasthan gouvernement a prévu de mettre en place des projets d'énergie thermique dans ce domaine. Le projet de ligne nouvelle permettra au moment de la circulation du charbon pour les centrales thermiques. La nouvelle ligne sera aussi un élan de développement de cette socialement et économiquement arriérées zone habitée par des populations tribales.
Le coût estimatif du projet de ce projet de ligne nouvelle est d'environ 2083 INR crore. 50% du coût du projet sera pris en charge par les chemins de fer et de cinquante pour cent par le gouvernement du Rajasthan (coût excluant le terrain). Le coût du terrain sera entièrement pris en charge par le gouvernement du Rajasthan.
