Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) membres du comité de l'intégrité ont été invités à changer le paysage corruption dans la société.
Copperbelt secrétaire permanent Villie Lombanya dit lors de la fermeture de l'atelier de formation d'une semaine pour les membres du comité de l'intégrité KCM à Nchanga Golf Club.
Lombanya a déclaré la mise en place du comité de l'intégrité dans KCM a été le début d'un nouveau chapitre révolutionnaire dans la lutte contre la corruption dans le secteur privé.
«J'ai exhorté les employés KCM qui ont subi l'atelier de formation de l'intégrité facilitée par la commission anti-corruption de prendre leur rendez-vous sérieusement avec une volonté de faire une différence dans la gouvernance de leurs unités respectives", a déclaré Lombanya.
Il a dit que la création et la formation du comité de l'intégrité valait l'investissement pour le bien de KCM en Zambie et au sens large.
Lutte contre la corruption Commission directeur adjoint (ACC) Judith Kaumba général a déclaré que le comité de l'intégrité KCM a été le quatrième groupe d'être formés dans le cadre de l'Initiative du CAC Comité de l'intégrité.
Kaumba a promis le soutien aux efforts de KCM à combattre la corruption à la compagnie minière.
Elle a remercié KCM et le Département pour le développement international pour l'appui apporté à l'Initiative Comité de l'intégrité et de faciliter la formation de la commission.
Pendant ce temps, le vice-président de KCM ressources humaines Sophie Mutemba a exhorté les employés à élaborer et adopter des normes professionnelles de lutte contre la corruption dans la société.

KONKOLA Copper Mines (KCM) integrity committee members have been advised to change the corruption landscape in the company.
Copperbelt permanent secretary Villie Lombanya said this during the closure of the one-week training workshop for KCM integrity committee members at Nchanga Golf Club.
Lombanya said the setting up of the integrity committee in KCM was the beginning of a new revolutionary chapter in the fight against corruption in the private sector.
“I urged KCM employees that underwent the integrity training workshop facilitated by the Anti Corruption Commission to take their appointment seriously with a resolve to make a difference in the governance of their respective units,” Lombanya said.
He said the establishment and training of the integrity committee was worth the investment for the good of KCM and Zambia at large.
Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) deputy director general Judith Kaumba said the KCM integrity committee was the fourth group to be trained under the ACC Integrity Committee Initiative.
Kaumba pledged support to KCM’s efforts to fight corruption at the mining company.
She thanked KCM and the Department for International Development for the support rendered to the Integrity Committee Initiative and facilitating the training of the Committee.
Meanwhile, KCM vice-president human resource Sophie Mutemba urged employees to develop and adopt professional standards of fighting corruption in the company.
