Sinazongwe UPND MP Richwell Siamunene has appealed to government to help MAAMBA Collieries find a market for the huge stacks of coal.
Mr Siamunene says Maamba Collieries has difficulties in securing market for its coal worth billions of Kwacha.
He says there is also need to take advantage of the massive coal reserves to increase electricity production for export.
He has urged government to restrict coal imports in order to maximize exports for the locally produced mineral.
