Vedanta Resources mise à jour Q2 production de cuivre

Au cours de Q2, la production de cathodes de cuivre de la fonderie a été Tuticorin 68 000 tonnes, ce qui était de 25,3% inférieur à celui du trimestre correspondant précédent en raison de l'arrêt d'entretien bi-annuel prévu pour 22 jours qui a débuté le Juin 22th 2010. La production de cathodes de cuivre au 1er semestre a été 145.000 tonnes, contre 169.000 tonnes pour la période correspondante précédente.
la production de métaux au CMT Australie a 7.000 tonnes et 14.000 tonnes en T2 et S1, respectivement. Construction de l'usine de 160 MW de puissance en captivité à Tuticorin est en cours et la première unité est prévue pour la mise en FY2012 Q4. Bien que le jeu MEF est en place pour la tonne 400 kilos par an agrandissement de la fonderie de cuivre de projet à Tuticorin, le projet est reporté en attente du consentement du Conseil d'Etat du contrôle de la pollution.
Cuivre (Zambie)
la production de métaux en T2 et S1 en Zambie a été 22.200 tonnes et 46.400 tonnes, soit plus de 17,8% et 23,7% respectivement, comparativement aux périodes correspondantes de l'avant. La production de cathodes de cuivre était de 65,7% supérieur à 58.000 tonnes en Q2. Production intégrée en Q2 était de 18,6% supérieur à 32.000 tonnes en raison de la hausse de la production de l'usine de décantation Leach à 15.800 tonnes par rapport à 11.300 tonnes pour le trimestre correspondant avant.
Production de la fonte de coutume 26.000 tonnes en Q2 par rapport à 8000 tonnes au cours du trimestre antérieur correspondant. La production de cathodes de cuivre était de 44,9% supérieur à 113.000 tonnes au 1er semestre par rapport à la période correspondante avant principalement en raison de la fonte personnalisée augmenté. Au KDMP, les travaux de construction sur le fonçage de puits en bas est en bonne voie.

During Q2, copper cathode production at the Tuticorin smelter was 68,000 tonnes which was 25.3% lower than the corresponding prior quarter due to the planned bi-annual maintenance shutdown for 22 days that began on June 22th 2010. Production of copper cathode in H1 was 145,000 tonnes compared with 169,000 tonnes in the corresponding prior period.
Mined metal production at CMT Australia was 7,000 tonnes and 14,000 tonnes in Q2 and H1 respectively. Construction of the 160 MW captive power plant at Tuticorin is in progress and the first unit is now scheduled for commissioning in Q4 FY2012. While the MoEF clearance is in place for the 400 kilo tonne per annum copper smelter expansion project at Tuticorin, the project is being rescheduled awaiting consent from the State Pollution Control Board.
Copper( Zambia)
Mined metal production in Q2 and H1 in Zambia was 22,200 tonnes and 46,400 tonnes, higher by 17.8% and 23.7% respectively as compared with the corresponding prior periods. Production of copper cathodes was 65.7% higher at 58,000 tonnes in Q2. Integrated production in Q2 was 18.6% higher at 32,000 tonnes on account of higher production from the Tailing Leach Plant at 15,800 tonnes as compared with 11,300 tonnes in the corresponding prior quarter.
Production from custom smelting was 26,000 tonnes in Q2 as compared with 8,000 tonnes in corresponding prior quarter. Production of copper cathodes was 44.9% higher at 113,000 tonnes in H1 as compared to the corresponding prior period mainly on account of increased custom smelting. At KDMP, construction work on the bottom shaft sinking is progressing well.
